Leave a glass of water by the bed
Does your skin and throat feel dry whenever you visit a hotel? The air in hotel rooms tends to be dry as the aircon (or heater, in cold countries) is usually turned on for extensive periods of time. The easiest way to work around this is to fill a glass with water and leave it around the room. Like a humidifier, the glass of water adds moisture to the air.

Charge your phone with the TV

Going on holiday is fun until that feeling of forgetting to bring something becomes a reality. It’s beyond us if you forgot your wallet. But if you forgot to take your wall charger along with you, here’s a trick: Most TVs come with a USB port at the back, so all you need to do is plug your charging cable in.
Alternatively, you can check with the Front Desk if they have a spare set of charger. They usually have plenty as most guests leave theirs behind.
