Coastal PlayGrove

If your child is too old for Smigy Playground, we recommend heading further up East to the former Big Splash site. Located at East Coast Park, Coastal PlayGrove spans 4.5 hectares and consists of main attractions like the Play Tower and slides, a water play area, a nature playgarden, as well as NParks’ first-ever outdoor classroom by the sea for preschools.

Battle your fear of heights at the 16-metre high Play Tower, the tallest outdoor play structure in Singapore. Here, you’ll find the Vertical Challenge, a vertical net play area with rope-based obstacles recommended for those aged 13 and above. Fret not, ramps are available as well. Slides can be found on the third and fourth floor to make your decline a breeze.

The water play area which consists of wading pools and water jets that light up at night is catered to younger kids from the age of 5 to 12 years old. This area is wheelchair-friendly, because everyone deserves to have a splashing good time. Children can also learn more about biodiversity at the nature playgarden which comprises a bamboo tunnel trail, a log trail, and a trail that leads to a sand pit.
