That said, there are ways to travel comfortably on a budget. One of which being purchasing used cars. Contrary to popular belief, used cars are sold for a plethora of reasons, not necessarily because they’re faulty. Like mobile phones, it's not uncommon to downgrade or upgrade cars.

Toyota Wish 1.8X Limited A

This five-seater is great for daily commuting and is fuel-efficient. In addition to a powerful 1.4 litre twin-charged engine, the car is equipped with knockdown rear seats and auto headlights.

Subaru Impreza 5D 1.5R

While the pickup might be slightly slower than other cars, the Subaru Impreza is great for smooth and comfortable drives daily. Across the board, most drivers are loving the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) handling which provides great overall traction during acceleration, especially useful in wet weather conditions.

A predecessor of the Toyota Corolla, the Corolla Axio is a fuss-free and reliable car for those in search of something practical. It comes with a simple interior, meaning no fancy touch sensitive air conditioning controls or accent trims on the dashboard as most cars are equipped with these days. However, the legroom and headroom is pretty good for a supposed small vehicle, according to Japanese standards.
