Influencer marketing strategies with micro-influencers for Sake Singapore

Tired of being just another face in the sea of #OOTD photos online? We’ve scoured the internet for lesser-known photo locations in Singapore, which won’t be much of a secret after some time, so strike while the iron is hot!

Sang Nila Utama Garden

Travel withdrawals getting to you? Relive the moment and search for obscure spots that look nothing like the Singapore we’re used to. It was recently announced that Singaporeans will be receiving $100 SingapoRediscovers Vouchers from December onward to explore their own backyard. But save your tourism credits and head over to Sang Nila Utama Garden for free.

Located in Fort Canning Park, this is one of the nine gardens launched last year that pay tribute to South-east Asian gardens in the 14th century. We love that it gives off Bali vibes, and looks strikingly similar to the Lempuyang Temple, home to the infamous “Gates of Heaven” shot.

Jurong Lake Gardens

For Westies who love getting in touch with nature, we recommend heading over to Jurong Lake Gardens in the morning or late afternoon when the sun isn’t shining down on you mercilessly. You know you’re at the right place when you’re greeted by a lalang field and an Instagrammable tree (which actually consists of recycled iron parts) at The Grasslands.

Conveniently situated near Lakeside MRT Station, Jurong Lake Gardens is the latest addition to the country’s national gardens alongside Botanic Gardens and Gardens By The Bay. Apart from The Grasslands, the garden has a variety of photo-worthy spots including A Bridge Between Habitats - a structure identical to Apple Marina Bay Sands.

Raffles Marina

Singapore’s lighthouses go way back but when it comes to OOTDs, aesthetically pleasing locations play a huge role in setting the tone. Raffles Marina, a first-class country club is home to the most picturesque lighthouse on our shores.

The Johor Strait Lighthouse has been around since 1994 and stands at 12 metres tall. It flashes a beam that reaches 15 metres at 10-second intervals. Unlike others in Singapore, this lighthouse situated in Tuas West is maintained by the Club.

Golden Mile Tower/ Complex

Golden Mile Complex and Golden Mile Tower are known to be the Thailand of Singapore but did you know that within it lies picture-perfect corners too? Though the once-famous Golden Mile Complex rooftop on the 9th floor is now closed to the public, there are a couple more spots worth a visit.

Call it hip, retro or old-school, The Projector is an indie cinema backed by three ladies. In line with quirky films and its unique seating arrangement, it has a fun spiral staircase and car park walls plastered with bold colours ideal for the Gram.
