Interview with Tiffany Lim (@heylazetiff)

1) First of all, could we get a short introduction about yourself?

Hello! I'm Tiffany Lim, 24 this year, and my IG handler is @heylazetiff. I'm 99% foodie where I have another food IG account @thematiccuisine

2) Oh you have a food IG account! How did that come about?

I used to bake and always out for good food. Truth to be told, I spent 90% of my expenses on food, and I don't mind splurging more on food than shopping. So IG account @heylazetiff used to be filled with all food content, and my friends were the one mentioning why not have a separate one to put all food inside so they can go to places that I've featured. And that's how thematic cuisine all started.

3) How did it feel when you found out you had won the Partipost giveaway?

I was really REALLY surprised because I knew it through Partipost tagging me on the IG story, but I didn't know that I'm the winner! LOL. Probably the most awkward second reaction was wondering if I won the $500 giveaway

4) Haha, I think we would honestly be shocked if we won $500 too! So, what are you currently doing in your life? (Schooling, working etc)

Currently I am holding a full-time office job in a marketing department where I handle more of my business partners’ marketing content and campaigns, with the assistant of any additional help they require.

5) Do you have any hobbies or what do you like to do in your free-time?

My current obsession is diving, if I'm on land, then roller skating is my best friend. Otherwise, you can find me editing videos or hanging out with my friends.

6) Diving is such an unusual hobby! Could you share more about your diving journeys? Any specific place you love to go diving at?

So to start you do need a license for diving, it all starts with open water license which allows you to dive up to 15m and then advanced license (30m). Currently, I've already obtained an advanced license! :)

If you're interested in diving, please DM me for a dive trip or see my IG highlight story of Palau Weh!

I don't pick places to dive as I only have 30+ dive sesh (the pros are usually more than 200) thus, right now I only tag along to areas my dive buddies want to go. But of course, one day I hope to dive in Bali (to see mola mola) and Maldives.

7) Wow diving sounds really great! We hope you would get more diving kakis after this! Now, let’s move on to your social media life! How active would you say you are on social media?

If I could combine all hours and minutes that I used on social media, it's probably 5hours a day (1 hour before bedtime)

8) What are some of your fav apps when it comes to editing photos or creating IG Stories?

My favourite app to create IG Stories has to be Canva (you can see the different style via my IG story highlight), it might be difficult to use initially but once you get the hang of it, it helps much more! Otherwise, Insta Story or InShot helps too!

9) What/Who made you get started with Partipost and when did you first join? How long did it take you to join your first campaign?

I had seen a Partipost advertisement way before I downloaded the app and my first submission was 10 Nov 2018 (wow, time flies). My first campaign was Saturday Club’s IG Story. I was heading to the sales area and I was thinking, why not? I am thankful I had that thought in my mind back then.

10) What/Why did you keep coming back to do our campaigns?

For now, it becomes a habit for me to check on the partipost app, and find those campaigns interesting to post and besides, some campaigns are really easy to meet the criteria and you get to earn some coffee money!

11) Do you think you gained/learned anything from partiposting other than just a platform to earn money?

Definitely, the way I have posted for campaigns and trying to be even more creative in the content that I want to participate in. As some of the campaigns give us the luxury to be creative, as there are more rewards if we got selected by the brands for content!

12) How many campaigns have you done so far?

It is countless, but a rough figure might be about 30+?

13) Which has been your favourite campaign and why?

It must be Holey Moley golf club!! As my department is really small, so I suggested Holey Moley golf club for our team bonding and there is an additional discount by using partipost code! So I kinda hit 3 birds with 1 stone (team bonding, discounted price and tons of fun!) It was my first 'golfing' experience too!

14) What are some factors that affect your choice in submitting for a campaign?

If it is convenient (like location wise) or if I would really use the products. Because I felt that I would not want to advocate a product that I will only use once. For example, the Tendar recovering oil, where it might not be of relation to my follower age group. And these days we are so mindful of the plastic waste we have produced, so I start selecting products that I know I will use them.

15) What is your most recent campaign have you been joined recently?

I have joined quite a number of campaigns, one of them is Rohto eye drop, as I find that one really interesting and everyone knows that I do wear the coloured lens for a crazy amount of hours

16) Since you have been Partiposting for quite some time, do you have any advice to other Partiposters? (dealing with rejection, things to take note when submitting for campaigns etc)

Initially, I always faced rejection for the campaigns because I only scanned through the details. But these days Partipost has made their details so much clearer, with examples! So fear not to try them out, just read (and not scan) the details and look at the examples. On top of that, you may join their telegram group, really friendly Partiposters will be helping one another out for enquiries.

17) If you had to refer a friend to start partiposting, how would you describe partipost in 1 sentence

Get paid to try out new experience/products!

18) Lastly, any Partiposter would know that the team here at Partipost are hardcore bubble tea fans, so for the final question…. What is your favourite bubble tea brand and drink from them??

I might sound so so outdated, but despite trying out a good number of bubble tea brands, my favourite is still Gongcha! I love Gongcha's Milk Foam Alishan tea with Rainbow Jelly! Also, Playmade Boba is really nice to chew too!
