If you’ve noticed, there are more and more Instagram Story Campaigns on the Partipost app! Many of you sent in questions asking if you’ve submitted it correctly.
So here’s a step-by-step flow on how you should submit for Instagram Story Campaigns while we optimise the app to support video submissions. :D
We have 2 types of Instagram Story Campaigns:
- Posting WITHOUT Approval
- Posting WITH Approval
Posting WITHOUT Approval
This is our most common form of Instagram story campaigns.

Step 1 - Create content
Step 2 - Post on Instagram Story
Step 3 - Submit proof of posting by submitting a screenshot to the app
Step 4 - Take 24 hr screenshot from Instagram Story
Step 5 - Submit 24 hr screenshot(s) to link provided in the brief
Step 6 - Wait for approval message
Step 7 - Once approved, payout will be credited to account (notified via email and push notification)
Let’s walk through it step-by-step
Step 1: Create the content based on the brief requirements
*Important pointers to note: All hashtags and tags must be included in the stories, pay close attention to the capitalisation and punctuation, make sure all tags are clickable*
Step 2: Post it on your Instagram story
Step 3: Submit a screenshot as proof of posting back to the app.
*Download an app to create white borders on an image so you can upload your screenshot fully instead of it getting cropped, “Whitagram” is a great app for this*
Step 4: After your story has been up for 24hours, go to your Instagram Profile>Archives (tap on the clock lookalike button on the top left)>expired story, take a screenshot showing the views and timestamp.
Step 5: Submit screenshots via the link provided in the brief.
*You can find the link in the campaign brief*
*You would have to upload the same image twice, once for timestamp, once for views.*
*Sometimes, the brief will state that you’re required to submit the Instagram Story’s original file as well. In this case, go to your Instagram Story and download the file*
Step 6: Wait for the approval message!
*If you receive an email asking for your post link, just ignore it (only for Instagram Story campaigns!) as our platform is not optimised for Instagram story campaigns yet but we are working on it*
Step 7: Once approved, payout will be credited into your Partipost wallet after 7 days.
Posting WITH Approval
Once in a while, we do have some campaigns that require you to submit your Instagram stories for approval prior to posting!
This will be stated clearly in the brief, usually under ‘Read This First’ and probably once more under ‘Photo Requirements’.
The steps to Partipost are the same as above but with two additional steps of submitting your story content for approval before posting it up.
After Step 1, upload your story content onto a link stated in the brief for brand approval and also submit a screenshot of your story content back to the campaign on the app to notify the brand of your submission.
Once approved, proceed with the rest of the steps.

However, do take note that the tags and hashtags are no longer be clickable if you are uploading the story content that you saved previously. Remember to reinclude the tags and hashtags before you post your story as they’re no longer clickable.
